Post 16 Options

When you leave school you will be making decisions about what to do next.  You can opt for one of the following routes depending on a range of different factors. 

The main options open to you are:

• FE college - where you can study a range of qualifications in academic or vocational subjects. 
• School sixth form or Sixth form college - where you can study A Levels, AS Levels or Advanced GCEs
• Work-based Learning - where you can follow an apprenticeship with an employer and be paid whilst you are training.
• Getting a job - where you could find employment or become self-employed.
• E2E - a programme to help you progress onto an apprenticeship, work or college

The connexions service will help you to get information, advice and guidance about many things which could affect or concern you.  For example
