Post 16 Options
When you leave school you will be making decisions about what to do next. You can opt for one of the following routes depending on a range of different factors.
The main options open to you are:
- FE college - where you can study a range of qualifications in academic or vocational subjects.
- School sixth form or Sixth form college - where you can study A Levels, AS Levels or Advanced GCEs
- Work-based Learning - where you can follow an apprenticeship with an employer and be paid whilst you are training.
- Getting a job - where you could find employment or become self-employed.
- E2E - a programme to help you progress onto an apprenticeship, work or college
